Our Handmade Suspenders

All our suspenders are rigorously produced in Italy by artisans with thirty years of experience in making these timeless accessories. The cut of the fabric, both the elastic one and the one of the front rods, of the naturally tanned leather and the linear stitching that embellish the product, are all phases carried out manually, reducing the use of machines to a minimum. We strongly believe in the professionalism that is often referred to as "Made in Italy", which is why we select almost all of our materials in our country.

The various steps to produce our braces are described below:
1) First of all, based on the skin chosen by the customer, the latter is ordered directly from the Genuine Italian Leather Consortium, using only the best full-grain vegetable-tanned leather from Tuscany. Available in various colors, once arrived, it is shaped by hand to embellish our braces.
2) Once the leather has been ordered, continue with cutting the selected fabric for the front rods of our shoulder straps. Strictly cut by hand, two rods of around cm 90/95 are made for a standard-sized strap, up to a length of cm115, cm7 / 8 wide. These rods are closed with an inside to make them rigid enough depending on the material used (silk rather than wool or linen), reaching a size of 3.5 cm per rod.
3) Two other fundamental elements that make up our shoulder strap are: elastic fabric and buttonholes. The elastic fabric, always cut by hand, is inserted in the back, so as to make our shoulder strap flexible. The buttonholes, on the other hand, once their color has been chosen by the customer, are cut and inserted at the ends of the shoulder strap and then tied to the trousers.
4) Having all the components of our brace available, these are assembled to then obtain our finished product, adding the composition label of the fabric used for the fabric poles and our label.
5) At this point there is nothing left to do but put our crafted cord in its box and deliver it to the customer.
